help! I don't know how to find what time I was born

Guidance: HOW TO FIND YOUR BIRTH TIME

It is your right to access your birth information. I often have prospective clients email to say they want a birth chart report but do not know what time they are born. I have a few solutions to finding a birth time and I have created this guide to assist you in this very frustrating process.

There are a few ways to access your birth time:

🌟 ask your parent/caregiver

🌟 contact the hospital you were born in for the records

(most people only have a short copy of their birth certificate which means the long one is stored elsewhere/electronically with your birth time!)

🌟 call the local government office which manages birth records

(may be called something like ministry, department, or office of “vital statistics”)

What if you do not know the birth time or have tried the above and had no luck?

This one is for my top investigators…

🌟 go digging through photo albums, keepsake boxes, your grannies photos. You may find that your birth time is wrote on the back of a photo of you

🌟 find a picture of the time you were born (one with visible lighting), source a hospital grounds map and approximately what room/floor the picture was taken, look up the sunrise time on your birthday and how many hours was the sun roughly in the sky (winter less than summer if you were born on northern hemisphere).

Now take a copy of your birth picture and create a splice effect by dividing by the number of times the sun was on the rising hemisphere. By general rule, the higher the light the higher the sun, and the higher the sun the closer you are to midsun/midday.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. dig up all the post birth photos and count your lucky stars if there happens to be a clock in the background

Are there any clocks? Watches?
Is there natural light? If so, what direction is it coming from?

If not, check what time the sun set on your birthday as this will shorten your window.

Remember the goal is to shorten the window - not find the most accurate time. Rising/ascendent signs change every couple of hours so if you can form an educated guess and narrow it down to a few hours you are onto a winner! You may need to take an educated guess on what your rising sign is between a few different options.

Think about who you feel most ruled by, are you serving pioneer? Well you may be an Aries rising.

Are you giving off safety comfort and stubborn to the core? Taurus rising.

LOVES to share info and have a stellium in Leo? Gemini rising.

Although this guide to finding your birth time is not the most accurate, you may find yourself discovering parts of your past you didn't know. You will unfortunately not be able to deepen your astrology report without accurate birth info, all astrologers will be unable to find out the degrees of your signs within the houses accurately but we can, get close.
